To compliment this functionality, a simple configuration is offered for you to make anchor links without needing HTML Code. A third configuration exists to modify page navigation links with anchors, so that these too can navigate users to particular parts of webpages.

Predominantly intended for use with ThemeFlood RapidWeaver themes featuring a FreeStyle banner container, the BannerStack provides a powerful solution for generating attractive webpage headers and banners to grab the attention of your site visitors. BannerStack starts with a static image. You then add layers to the stack; which can comprise of styled text, HTML code, markdown, images, video or other stacks. Each layer can be sized and positioned on the canvas. The finished result is a fully responsive header or banner that can combine multiple content types. - Note, will not work with Foundry.

Builder

Builder is an innovative stack that makes it possible to build your own basic stack elements. It was inspired by the excellent DesignerContent plugin in concrete5. By using Builder, you can build your own stack elements with code snippets from sources like CodeCanyon, Bootstrap, CSS Tricks, StackOverflow or JS-Fiddle; comprising of HTML, CSS and Javascript markup. These self-built stacks can then be duplicated on a page.

Curtains

A simple, free stack that creates the illusion of opening curtain drapes or shower curtains, as a webpage loads. This could be a useful stack to use in more informal websites, where you want to display a brief line of text; followed by a gradient or image curtain effect. The curtain drapes can comprise of a CSS gradient, dragged and dropped images or warehoused images. The speed of the effect and text are fully customisable. The addition of optional cookie tracking lets you display the curtains effect only once to a user.

Note: I removed Curtains from this particular web page because it was so annoying.

Cutout

An image float stack unlike any other! CutOut uses the new CSS 'shape-outside' property to apply attractive text wrapping effects around left or right floating images. Wrapping shapes can include circles (default), ellipses, insets and more complex polygons. This is a special effect, growing in popularity, which many web designers are deploying in more and more websites. A perfect finishing-touch for product photography and personal profile images.

A square image is added and is made into a circle with text flowed around it.

DropCMS

DropCMS can take text files, images or PDFs hosted on your own web server and embed them into the webpage. If you or a client has FTP access to the directory containing the files, then it becomes instantly feasible to edit the contents of those files - all without buying or setting up complex CMS software. And if a file is deleted, DropCMS can either display alternative stacks or display no content at all. This makes DropCMS perfect for 'hot swappable' content you want shown on a website.

Embed

Use our free embed stack to safely embed HTML5 audio, HTML5 video, iFramed content, single warehoused images, PDF files, plain text or a directory of images. Embed cuts-out the requirement for any complicated code. It instead uses common HTML5 tags, which work reliably in all modern web browsers for embedding different content types. Responsive scaling is applied to content types like audio, video and images. Embed stack uses valid HTML markup and is optimised for search engines.

Expander

Expander hides and reveals blocks of content using only 9 lines of vanilla Javascript! So you can do-away with the idea of pulling-in 200 KB or more of cryptic code and oversized libraries. Expander is perfectly suited if you want to display a summary, and then have a larger description or details shown. Expander will happily work with styled text, HTML code, markdown and images.

Expiry

Expiry uses PHP code to fetch the date from your web server. It then compares that date and time with the date entered in the stack settings. This provides a conditional test to either display content before a certain date or after a certain date. By using PHP, content inside the Expiry stack is only displayed when the criteria is met, and can't be seen by search engines or normal site visitors the rest of the time. Unlike client-side Javascript solutions, you can't easily manipulate or hack the code to force content to display at other times!

ExtraContentPlus

As the name suggests; this stack is an extended version of the normal ExtraContent stack, with the addition of several extremely useful features for power users! ExtraContent Plus helps keep your workspace in RapidWeaver neatly organised, and includes some special markup to improve ExtraContent performance and provide a safety-net in rare instances where users arrive at your website without Javascript support. ExtraContent Plus works with RapidWeaver 5 and above. It is compatible with a majority of third-party addon themes (including all ThemeFlood designs).

Fadein

The FadeIn stack enables you to have a block of content (like text or images) fade-in on page load. It's a very simple and lightweight stack, with just the bare-minimum of features and settings. FadeIn can help you make a good introductory effect at the top of pages. Because FadeIn uses jQuery Javascript, the fade-in effect will work reliably across all major web browsers and devices. The image below will fade in (10000 setting-slow) when the page loads. Otherwise default settings are used.

Filter

Filter - An advanced stack permitting the filtering and sorting of multiple items within a webpage; combining both categories and keywords together into a single stack. Purchased "Free" on July 21, 2020. Hamish uses this stack in his searchable Stack site at https://hamish.com/rwstacks/.

FileMan

Derived from the simple PHP file manager plugin, FileMan is a free stack to provide a basic login and file management interface on your RapidWeaver website. This stack is absolutely perfect for use in instances like providing a client with access to login and manage their photos in ProGallery / RefinedSlider or for management of MP3 files in PlayLister. Fileman has a multitude of innovative, potential uses and works brilliantly well with many of our stacks.

FileTree

This stack uses a relative path to a directory on your web server. It converts the resulting directory / file list into an interactive file tree. Just like a file browser on a computer, visitors to your website are able to drill-down through multiple levels of directories to browse files. You can configure FileTree to open files within the browser window, force files to download or connect FileTree to TopBox for instant lightbox support. Plus each time you add or remove files on the web server, FileTree updates without needing any input via RapidWeaver. A great little file browsing solution.

More and more software is now capable of exporting SVG files and web browser support is edging very close towards 100%. Our GraphicStack does as the name suggests and makes it simple to quickly get scalable vector graphic files embedded into your webpages; without the need for complicated code or expensive plugins.

This PHP based stack for RapidWeaver adds a simple hit counter capability to webpages. It was originally coded in 2005 and has been rewritten for newer versions of PHP and carefully repackaged as a convenient drag-and-drop stack element. HeadCount could be a good solution if you only care to know how many times a webpage has been viewed. HeadCount purposefully foregoes measuring lots of extravagant metrics. It doesn't slow-down your webpages with bloated code and it certainly does not engage in any intrusive tracking or targeted advertising. Because no user-identifiable data is ever collected by HeadCount about your website users, you don't need opt-in consent popups for it either.

Hotspots

A fully-responsive image map stack, which lets you setup clickable areas over an image. The HotSpots stack puts emphasis on flexibility and ease of setup. An unlimited number of hotspot regions can be created over an image; with links to page anchors, website pages, external websites or downloads. The individual 'hotspots' can be customised with text, a border or a simple background fill. This stack is perfectly suited in a variety of situations where you want to deploy simple image maps that scale to fit different screen sizes, without breakage.

Hotspots builds responsive image maps. It's a little tedious to produce quadrant percentages and enter into the HotSpots form by trial & error. Need to eyeball the resulting coordinates. 4 sets of coordinates supplied with the stack. There is an additional 1st set which doesn't appear to be used. Typing in a word before the closing anchor tag will add a descriptive word to the clickable quadrant.

Linkbox

The laws of HTML dictate that you cannot put block items (like stacks) inside inline elements (like links). The result of ignoring this advice is invalid source code and a page destined to failure. So we built the LinkBox stack instead. This simple stack element solves the previous problems by grouping one or more stacks together inside a block. Then a standard HTML link tag is used; which is stretched over the content. The end result is a collection of one or more stacks with a single link applied. Simple, reliable and very fast to setup. It solves this age-old problem perfectly.

This stack creates quick modal popup windows in pure HTML, CSS and Javascript. Useful to display important messages or to get confirmation from the user. The lack of any libraries or frontend frameworks means that each popup weighs less-than 3KB! Perhaps the most unique feature of this popup stack is that you have complete, 100% access, to the entire codebase. Meaning you can use Modally as it is, or practice your coding skills and play with editing some of its code.

The purpose of this simple stack is to show a summary of text (teaser), followed by ellipses and a 'read more' button. A perfect solution for providing blocks of written content that can be easily expanded and shrunk by the end user, by clicking a link or button. ReadMore stacks can be placed within the normal page flow or a theme ExtraContent container. Their minimalist appearance make them particularly well-suited for use in ThemeFlood themes.

Rollfade

A very simple little stack element which allows you to adjust opacity of text or images on mouseover (rollover). Newer web browsers will change the amount of opacity using a subtle fading transitional effect. By adjusting the static and hovered opacity amounts, you can have content reduce in opacity or increase in opacity, on rollover. RollFade is a useful stack for many different tasks, including content blocks and image collages.

This text should be effected by a mouse rollover.

SwipeGallery replaces the former Viewr stack by StackManiac. This new stack will let you effortlessly create a responsive grid of thumbnail images; sourced locally or from a warehouse location. Clicking or tapping a thumbnail image reveals it fullscreen, within a responsive lightbox. As the name suggests, users on touch-based devices (like smartphones and tablets) can swipe through your gallery of images. In edit mode, images can be dragged and arranged into any order. SwipeGallery is extremely easy to setup and contains lots of useful style and colour settings.
